That’s a common belief, right? We’re here to tell you it’s not entirely true.
Here’s why: Many successful brands started with minimal budgets but leveraged unique strategies to carve out their market share.
In other words, it’s more about how smartly you use resources, not just how much you spend.
And then, we provide examples of small budget campaigns that turned into huge successes.
So, don’t let myths hold you back. Let’s debunk them together and pave your path to success.
Because, after all, it’s innovation, not just investment, that makes the difference.
💡WHICH RETAILERS SHOULD I TARGET?
As a vendor, you might think it’s smarter to start with smaller retailers—those with 5, 10, or even 20 stores—and hesitate to approach the giants like Costco, Walmart, or Best Buy.
But I always encourage vendors to aim for the big players. Why? Because the potential is far greater. In the beginning, these major retailers typically place small orders, not because they lack interest but because they want to test both your product and you as a vendor (more on that in an upcoming post).
You’ll likely start by supplying a few hundred units to these giants. But if all goes well, you could eventually land massive orders in the tens of thousands—a scale small retailers simply can’t offer.
