The 4th line “acknowledgment” is referring to what we call ASN, which stands for Advanced Shipping Notice – an acknowledgment from the vendor to the retailer, through the EDI, that the shipment has been shipped, incl. dates, weight, measurements, and any relevant information.
Very common thing in retail – we acknowledge the retailers when their goods are on the way.
